How do I know what Medicare coverage is right for me?

Medicare coverage is based on your needs, your doctors, your medicine, and your budget.  It is important to understand that may not be the same thing that your neighbor is doing. We here at Ask the Agent make sure we customize a plan that addresses your specific needs.  Click here for an appointment request.

How much does Medicare cost?

You likely will pay a part B premium to Medicare.  Beyond that, you may pay other premiums, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance based on your plan selection.   Financial assistance is available for those with low incomes.  Ask the Agent how to apply.

What do I do about Medicare if I work past age 65?

It is important to schedule an initial meeting with your agent to compare what is available through an employer/individual market to other coverage options.  It is possible for you to have better coverage or even lower premiums with the individual market, however, you are allowed to delay your part b premium while you are working if you have credible coverage through your job.  Once you decide to retire you have 60 days to pick up your part b premium and your new individual coverage through Medicare.  Why not schedule a free evaluation with Ask the Agent  today to compare your choices?

How can I get dental and vision coverage with Medicare?

Original Medicare Part A and B do not cover routine dental and vision care.  However, some Medicare Advantage plans, part c,  do include dental and vision coverage options or stand-alone dental and vision coverage is available.  Ask The Agent about your options today.

What is the difference between HMO/PPO?

A Medicare Advantage HMO plan only will pay for coverage you receive in a specific plan network of doctors.  A MA PPO plan will pay both in-network and out-of-network benefits; however, your out-of-network copays/coinsurance will be higher.  Ask the Agent which plan may be best for you.
